Launched in May 2007, Lanzarote Maps solves the problem faced by residents and visitors alike - how to find a business or a town in Lanzarote easily.  Combining the power of Google Maps with our own custom built .NET libraries, the site allows businesses to advertise directly on the Google Map surface.   Lanzarote Maps includes a search engine and is also tightly integrated with the Lanzarote Search Engine.  With visitor numbers continually rising we are seeing many visitors enter our network at Lanzarote Maps and then jump to a client website (our Log Server lets us see where a visitor to a client site came from).

Our logs show that we pick up visitors from Google and other search engines who may be looking for a specific business by name; even if the business does not have a web site, being able to type a business name into Google, land on Lanzarote Maps and then also search the Lanzarote Search Engine in two or three clicks is a huge benefit to holidaymakers and residents alike.
